Soft Market Test for a Housing Portfolio Maintenance Solution for Peterborough City Council

Peterborough City Council (PCC) is seeking to procure a Housing Maintenance Service to include but not limited to General Maintenance, Minor Repairs, Electrical Maintenance and Gas Safety Maintenance, Planned Maintenance improvement works and Cyclical decorations. These areas are anticipated to be individual lots. The Total Annual budget across all lots is expected to be circa £350,000.

Potential providers are invited to respond to the questions in Part 7 concerning the proposed service to be procured. Responses to these questions may be used to inform our commissioning approach to the tender exercise. In order to make an informed decision on the best form of tender we are looking to the market to:

Suggest innovative and cost-effective delivery solutions, which may inform our specification development.

Inform our thinking regarding commercial considerations of providing Property Portfolio Maintenance Services.

Ascertain a clear understanding of the market's interest, capacity and experience to deliver the service.

Understand the optimum way of procuring that will enable a wide cross section of the supply market to bid, including, Small and Medium Enterprises (SME's) and new entrants to the market.

Please note that this is not a call for competition, neither is it a procurement exercise but an opportunity for Peterborough City Council to better understand the supply market for providers to showcase their ideas.
