SOL- Midlands Academy Insurance Framework Agreement

The West Midlands Insurance Group currently comprises representation from 8 Local Authorities. These authorities established an Insurance Framework for Academy Schools in 2011. These Academies are largely based across the Midlands, although the Group does not preclude members from outside the region. The new Framework, effective 01 September 2015 for 3 years with 1 x 2 year extension option will again enable the provision of insurance including; Property, Liability, Contract Works, Personal Accident, Travel, Legal Expenses, Motor, Terrorism, Fidelity Guarantee, Professional Liabilities and Engineering Insurance / Inspection for educational establishments with Academy status, or that may achieve Academy status during the lifetime of the Framework Agreement. We do not wish to limit which Authorities may form part of the Group however the Authorities currently participating include:

Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council (Lead)

Coventry City Council

Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council

Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council

Wolverhampton City Council

Staffordshire County Council

Lincolnshire County Council

LGSS (Cambridgeshire County Council, Northamptonshire County Council and Norwich City Council)
