description
Beachcroft House is a flagship new 84-bed dual registered nursing and residential home which seeks to provide lifetime care for its residents, located in Shirland Road and owned by Westminster City Council (WCC). It is arranged over 5 floors and was completed in the summer of 2020. The design of the building incorporated dementia design principles and includes two gardens, cinema and library rooms as well as a community room (managed by the provider) to promote its integration within the local community.
WCC are in the process of developing a procurement to find and contract with a suitably qualified care provider to lease and operate Beachcroft House. To supplement the market testing that took place in July this year, WCC is further seeking the views of providers using a short questionnaire as well as inviting expressions of interest. Due to the imminent aim to publish this procurement we have set a short timescale for responses Participation in this market engagement activity does not constitute a call for competition to procure any services, supplies or works for the Council and the Council is not bound to accept any proposals offered.
The Council is not liable for any costs, fees or expenses incurred by any party participating with this questionnaire.
Any procurement of any services, supplies or works by the Council in due course will be carried out strictly in accordance with the provisions in the UK and EU Procurement Regulations.
