GB-London: The Royal Parks - Health & Safety Consultancy Contract

The Royal Parks has awarded a Health and Safety consultancy contract to provide advice on all aspects of H&S management across our estate, supporting the small in-house team. Under the Contract, the consultant will receive requests/instructions for TRP as and when a requirement arises. The value indicated on this Award Notice is the total estimated value over the maximum, eight-year term of the Contract.

Areas of advice may include but are not limited to:

• Specialist advice on event safety;
• Assessing, auditing and assuring contractors' H&S management (covering areas such as FM, Landscape Maintenance, construction, major events, catering, volunteers etc);
• Support for undertaking and reviewing Fire Risk Assessments and providing competent fire safety advice;
• Undertaking Display Screen Equipment assessments;
• CDM management services and advice;
• Client support in relation to accident and incident investigations including liaising with enforcement bodies;
• Advising on road risk management;
• External audit and assurance of TRP's H&S management systems;
• Advice on managing other areas such as asbestos management, LOLER, legionella/water safety (L8), confined space work;
• Food Safety Advice & Auditing services to provide assurance to the client that concessionaires and service providers are managing their provision effectively.

The consultant will also be required to deliver IOSH training under the contract and where possible, first-aid training.

Clarification questions must be raised through the Delta portal (link below) by 14:00 on 15th December 2022.

The deadline for tender submissions (which again must be submitted via Delta) is 14:00 on 6th January 2023.
