The University of Warwick has a requirement to purchase a high-resolution X-ray absorption fine structure (XAFS) and emission spectrometer capable of determining metal oxidation states and local coordination for optimizing material synthesis/discovery and to monitor redox reactions in coin cell and single-layer pouch cell Li-ion (and related) batteries during meaningful cycle rates i.e. up to C/3 rates.
