description

Direct Award to WSP under WECA Professional Services Framework

The bridge over Brunel Dam previously had a 3t weight limit. This bridge was strengthened in

2009, as part of the works to Entrance Lock. However the information of the new weight limit

is unknown. A bridge assessment is therefore required.

Due to a lack of information on the bridge, this will be done over two phases.

Phase 1 will be to gather and review existing information and undertake a visual inspection for

assessment to establish if we have sufficient information to assess the bridge without a more

detailed survey.
