Portsmouth City Council is inviting expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced providers to tender for this project.
The scope of which will comprise of but may not be limited to produce and manage a suite of films in association with the inaugural Maritime UK Awards ceremony on Thursday 19th September 2019.
The commission will involve all aspects of filming, editing and delivering these films in relative to the project timetable.
Maritime UK is the primary forum through which Government engages with the Marine and Maritime Sector. The LEP's membership of Maritime UK provides a direct to Government and the overarching sector representative body and it is for this reason that the LEP Board has focussed its efforts in forging this relationship.
The Solent LEP in partnership with Maritime UK will be hosting the inaugural Maritime UK awards in September 2019. This will be a high-profile and prestigious event that requires specialist film production and management capabilities.
The scope of services to be provided by the provider include:
- oLiaising with key partners and stakeholders (as advised) in order to arrange a schedule of filming
- oProducing 12 x short films about sponsors of the event
- oProducing 38 x short films for those who have been nominated
- oProducing a pre-event promotional video to encourage award applications, sponsors and ticket sales
- oFilming the event throughout the evening with a view to live-streaming it around the room; and to produce a post-event film
- oProducing a holding film for the event
The initial contract period will be for six (6) months extendable in six (6) monthly increments to a maximum of twelve (12) months, subject to performance and agreement of all parties.
