UK SBS DDaT19177 Subscription for Changepoint Software

***Modification of the Contract***

Contract Variation DDaT19177 003 - The contract has been amended by to include 187 working hours for a Technical Consultant between the period 30/11/2020 - 31/03/2021 which has increased the total Contract value to £515,729.85 excluding VAT.

Contract Variation DDaT19177 002 - The contract has been amended by to include 74 working hours for a Technical Consultant between the period 03/08/2020 - 31/03/2021 which has increased the total Contract value to £487,317.28 excluding VAT.

Contract Variation DDaT19177 001 - The contract has been amended to add 50x Additional Advanced User subscriptions for Changepoint Software as a Service (SaaS) which has increased the total Contract value to £479,184.75 excluding VAT.

UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) have purchased a new three year subscription to Changepoint Software. Changepoint is a resource and project management system used by the UKRI-NERC Research Centres (BAS and BGS) to manage grant and other funded research, amounting to a multi-million-pound project portfolio. It tracks projects from the original request through to closure. It is used to monitor and track resources on scientific projects, (part)funded by external bodies, e.g. The EU Commission (a major source of funding for the research carried out by NERC).

This Single Sourcing Action (SSA) was approved in line with regulation 32 (2)(b)(iii) competition due to the protection of exclusive rights, including intellectual property rights.
