Islington Council invites suitable expressions of interest from suppliers for the provision of a multidisciplinary floating / visiting support service for a minimum of 700 Adults.
Current status / Background
The service will address a range of support needs amongst Islington?s residents. The service will provide housing related support to people at risk of losing their tenancies as a result of one or a combination of factors which may include ( though not exclusively) rent arrears, anti-social behaviour, mental ill health, substance misuse, domestic violence, learning disabilities, having been in care and a history of homelessness. The service will also support people placed temporarily outside Islington by the boroughs Housing Solutions Service. Additionally, the service will consolidate five existing floating support services and provide flexible support to service users seven days a week. The service will be operated from a site in the borough and co-locate some staff with strategic partners.
