description
Cambridge City Council is looking to replace and enhance the Audio Visual equipment in its Civic Rooms at The Guildhall and in the common meeting rooms throughout the Council’s Administrative Buildings. The City Council also works closely with South Cambridgeshire District Council, Huntingdonshire District Council and Cambridgeshire County Council and it is possible that one or more of those partners may also have some interest in elements of this project.
The Council has limited knowledge of what solutions may be available from the commercial market and is thus keen to have a better understanding of what sort of products and options are available. This will help us refine and better understand what we need.
The council is seeking advice about the broad technical options for high quality professional standard Audio Visual and recording equipment and this could cover (not exhaustive): Hearing loops, voting, screens, lectern, projectors, microphones, portable equipment, filming, live streaming.
Further details of the requirement are included in the Request for Information (RFI) document attached. The RFI includes a number of questions which we hope you will respond to. This will help us to understand the options that may be available and help us shape our requirement to achieve the best response from the market.
The closing date for providing information is Tuesday 1st November 2016. Details about how to return the questionnaire are given in the RFI document.
If you have any questions or need more information, please get in touch with the contact officer.
Your input to this exercise will be very helpful and we hope that you will take part. If you only wish to respond to parts of the RFI (rather than the entire document) that is acceptable.
