HEART requires high-quality Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance Support Service, encompassing Digital Building Technology and aims to appoint a capable supplier under a single contract to deliver these services across all sites.

Scope of Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance Support Service, encompassing Digital Building Technology

The services to be provided as part of this procurement include:

  • Asset Maintenance - Maintain mechanical and electrical (M&E) assets as per the Asset Register to optimise performance and reduce energy consumption.
  • Compliance & Safety - Ensure compliance with health & safety statutory obligations and provide a safe learning/work environment.
  • Reactive & Planned Maintenance - Provide 24/7 reactive support and implement a structured Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule.
  • Lifecycle & Cost Management - Maximise asset lifespan, ensure cost-effective usage, and replace assets only when necessary.
  • Reporting & Transparency - Deliver clear costings, comprehensive reports on remedial works, and maintain the Asset Register.
  • Operational Flexibility - Minimise disruption to the school day, with planned works scheduled in advance and emergency works prioritised.
  • Collaboration & Communication - Adopt a 'one team' approach, ensuring clear communication, problem mitigation, and seamless coordination.
  • Contractor Management - Manage sub-contractors effectively, ensuring they hold relevant qualifications, policies, and safe working practices.
  • Quality & Standards - Perform all works to industry best practices, using certified engineers and adhering to legal and manufacturer guidelines
