description

Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (the Trust) requires ongoing, expert maintenance and servicing of automatic doors and roller shutters across the City and Queen's Medical Centre (QMC) campuses to ensure their continued functionality and mitigate the risk of malfunction. These systems are critical for maintaining smooth and secure access to various areas of the Trust's facilities, safeguarding both patients and staff.

In the event of a failure, automatic doors or roller shutters may become inoperable, potentially disrupting access to essential departments, increasing security risks, and causing delays to the Trust's operations.

To prevent these risks and ensure the operational integrity of these systems, the Trust has awarded a 12 month contract, with the option to extend for a further 12 months, for the maintenance of automatic doors and roller shutters to Pickerings Ltd. This contract includes both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance services.

The contractor will carry out regular inspections, servicing, and repairs to both automatic doors and roller shutters at both the City and QMC campuses.
