National Lottery Awards Entry Process Management System

The NLPU is looking for a cost-effective solution to deliver the entry stage of the Awards process over the next two years, tailored to its needs, and bidders are asked to provide a proposal for this service that meets these criteria

In Year one, the campaign will launch to the media and projects in early February 2017, preceded by an internal launch to Lottery stakeholders in early January 2017. This is to allow enough time for Lottery Distribution Bodies (LDBs) to suggest projects they think should be approached to enter the Awards and for the appointed Entry Management Supplier to independently research other eligible projects.

The Service Provider will manage the entry process and liaise with all 12 Lottery distributors and Lottery-funded projects to encourage a significant volume of strong entries from across the UK within the entry period.

The Service Provider will be required to attract a minimum of 650 completed entries per year, with an even spread across all seven categories. This is essential to generate a significant volume of high-quality entries so that there is sufficient competition for a place in the longlist.

Timings and expectations in the second year should be the same as above. NLPU will review after year one and agree timings and expectations with the supplier.
