Newham Trail Truro Bridge Repairs

orserv on behalf of Cormac Solutions Ltd wish to appoint a suitably experienced and qualified contractor to undertake bridge repair works at Newham Trails Truro, under an NEC Option A ECS (Engineering & Construction Subcontract).

*Full Scope of Works:

• The Bridge Repairs package for the Newham Trails including supply of all materials, labour and plant necessary to provide the items shown on the Subcontract Works Information as summarised below :

Arch Hill Bridge and Penweathers Rail East Bridge

All as shown on Drawings CN2000551-CSL-SBR-SW819433-DE-C-0001-A2 Rev C02 and DE-C-0002-A2 Rev 02

A Repairs to timber deck, transverse beams Cross Transverse and New Longitudinal timbers

B Remove damaged bottom flange and replace with new mild steel grade S275 JR or wrought iron plate of 12mm thickness.

C A mild steel spacer plate grade S275 JR is to be installed securely to support longitudinal timber bearing strip D Mild steel spacer and new plate if made from mild steel to be primed and external faces painted black with suitable colour E Installation of Temporary Access Ramp and Bridge Protection

F Temporary Works scaffolding

NOTE - this package does not include

• Groundworks
• Streetlighting
• Rock anchoring, rockfall netting and fencing
• Fencing/gates
• Vegetation and scrub clearance, tree felling or pruning, planting or herbicide treatment areas.

IMPORTANT NOTEs -

Tenderers are required to submit an Option A Activity Schedule price with the activities reasonably broken down to resemble the programme.
