RUG-RT1415012 Parkfield Phase B Park Contract

Rugby Borough Council are looking for a contractor to carry out hard and soft landscaping to create the infrastructure and features of a new Park as part of phased works to create a community hub on land which had been unmanaged for many years due to road construction works. These works form Phase B Park Creation, and the works include:

•Tarmac paving to new footpaths with pre‐cast concrete edging

•Self‐binding gravel to new footpaths with timber edging

•Removal of surface vegetation and topsoil stripping

•Re‐grading works to regulate levels and re‐shape existing landform

•Formation of low mounds and bunds using excavated materials

•Creation of natural play area (installation of timber play equipment, grass mat safer surfacing, timber retaining walls, and large glacial boulders) •Sleeper wall construction, installation of rustic slate monolith, and decorative chippings to sensory garden •Ornamental planting to sensory garden and nectar bar

•Tree and hedge planting

•Soiling, seeding, and wildflower plug planting

•Installation of site furniture (metal seats, litter and dog waste bins) and stock fencing
