Emotional Health and Wellbeing Services in Schools

Whole Schools Approach ? the Service will work with Secondary Schools, Free Schools, Special Schools and the Alternative Complementary Education Service who have signed the Commissioning and Procurement Partnership MOU for emotional health and wellbeing services.

The annual contract value for the service is £45,000 with an additional £40,000 in year one. The service offer will promote a positive emotional health and wellbeing culture across the school community through the development of school specific delivery plans and direct service interventions. The service offer will include support to pupils, school based staff, parents and carers. The service provider will have a proven track record of effective delivery.

Online counselling and talking therapies ? the Service will work with Secondary Schools, Free Schools and the Alternative Complementary Education Service who have signed the Commissioning and Procurement Partnership MOU for emotional health and wellbeing services.

The annual contract value for the service is £218,500. The service offer will include web based support through information provision, moderated forums and online counselling. The Service will provide face to face talking therapies within each school and the community. All staff will be appropriately qualified and the service provider will have a proven track record of effective delivery. The annual minimum volume of hours to be delivered across the service is 5350.

Contract management will be undertaken jointly between the Local Authority and School Representatives.
