Collection of approximately 55 bequeathed bodies per year and their delivery to QMC (Queens Medical Centre), and the provision of suitably prepared coffins, transportation from QMC to a place of rest and management of the associated arrangements.

The University of Nottingham (UoN) wishes to enter into a contract for 3 years with an option to extend for a further 12 month period commencing on the 2nd January 2017 for the provision of Funeral servicesof bodies bequeathed for the purpose of teaching of anatomy to student and trainee doctors. This tender invites expressions of interest in the main aspects of the service that we wish to purchase for suitably dignified and reverential disposal of cadavers:

The University is initiating a procurement using the Open Procedure via an Invitation to Tender with the Contract award by 30th November and the Contract commencing 2nd January 2017 with the successful supplier.
