description

Health Education England are inviting bidders to submit a tender response to design, develop and deliver a model for recruiting non graduates into entry level digital roles, via apprenticeships. The purpose of the pilot is to determine the best route to recruit, select and appoint learners into vacant digital, data and technology roles within the health and care system and to establish a pipeline of talent for future development within the system. The pilot will demonstrate collaborative working across its region and gain consensus across the patch for a standardised approach to recruiting learners onto digital apprenticeships and establish the vendor qualification as the basic entry level qualification sought for the informatics career pathway. It will also determine a pathway to continue their development onto graduate routes, such as the Digital, Data & Technology Graduate Scheme (DDaT). The pilot will establish a model which, if successful, could be adopted and replicated nationwide in 2022. The contract will be for one year, commencing 01 April 2021.
