Founder's Building Main Entrance Refurbishment 2015

Royal Holloway, University of London (RHUL /’the College’) is seeking expressions of interest from specialist contractors to refurbish the main entrance area and construct a new bin store to the rear of our Grade I Listed Founder’s Building in Egham, Surrey (TW20 0EX). The works are required to create a new entrance focal point for the Founder's Building coupled with a new purpose built waste area to the rear.

The works comprise:

The refurbishment of the main entrance area on the East side of the Founder's building to create a new focal entrance point, the rationalisation of existing services and the creation of disabled access to the side corridors. The project also includes the rationalisation of the West entrance, the creation of a ramp and the creation of a purpose built refuse space to the rear of the building.

Expressions of interest must be returned via the College’s e-tendering system (In-Tend) by no later than 12:00 noon on Friday 4th December 2015.

A shortlist of six suppliers will then be identified by the College at its discretion, based on qualifications and experience to carry out the works. The shortlist will be invited to tender, on or around 14th December 2015.

The contract will be let in accordance with NEC Engineering and Construction contract, third edition Option A. The College reserves the right to amend or vary these terms and conditions prior to contract award.

This tender is being run in accordance with the College`s Financial Regulations.Only expressions of interest that are submitted electronically via the In-Tend system prior to the submission date will be accepted.
