Places for People - IT Audit Services

Places for People's Business Assurance team are seeking applications for a Specialist IT Computer Audit service as part of a co-sourcing arrangement reporting to and plan of work controlled by the Director of Assurance. As such, Places for People are seeking to appoint a suitably accredited sole supplier of computer audit services and wish to form an Agreement which will be utilised and owned by Places for People.

The services of a computer audit provider will include the below (non-exhaustive) elements:

 Disaster Recovery

 Cyber Security

 IT Change Management

 Cloud Technology and Information Processing  Privacy Rules

 Applications

 Effectiveness of Application Control Structures  General Information and Governance  IT Asset Management

It is expected that the services will be undertaken between approximately 35 to 50 days in a given year.

Places for People are looking for the successful supplier to bring a collaborative approach to determining the IT audit plan and input and support the development of this IT audit plan with suitable advice, backed up with IT risk horizon scanning and wider industry experience and knowledge.

Though Places for People require national UK coverage, it is likely that a significant proportion of the plan will be delivered at our South Rings office based in Preston, Lancashire.
