description

The Police and Crime Commissioner West Yorkshire has commissioned the development of an on line safety initiative to deal with current issues of concern to the West Yorkshire community. This will contribute towards the PCC’s commitment to ensure that communities ‘are safer and feel safer’.

The identified issues of radicalisation, child sexual exploitation, cyberbullying and sextortion/sexting will be addressed through a newly created and secure ‘Community Voices’ on line training tool. The material will be gathered, moderated and delivered to diverse community groups across the county.

For this purpose, the Police and Crime Commissioner wishes to contract with suitably qualified persons to undertake the functions. Specific key responsibilities and other requirements for the role are attached.
