The Supply of Royal Marines Raiding Craft Man Overboard Recovery System.
The Authority is seeking expressions of interest from suppliers capable of satisfying this requirement. Potential suppliers should contact (details below) the Authority’s nominated poc for a draft Statement of Requirement and Key User Requirement Document (KUR). Following this, those wishing to express an interest must do so via e-mail to the Authority’s nominated poc within the time limit specified.
Due to time constraints it is essential that potential suppliers already have a SOLAS product available that meets the requirement.
Potential Suppliers shall also need to demonstrate accredited 3rd Party {or Government Issued} Quality Management System (QMS) certification which includes an appropriate scope to meet the requirement by supplying the latest copy of their certificate. In the event that no certification is held, the company must be able to demonstrate that they operate and maintain a QMS acceptable to the Department for this requirement. This should be submitted along with your expression of interest
Potential Suppliers will be required to provide samples at ITT stage to allow for User Trials to take place.
Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement, and the contract will be awarded on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender.
