Update of travel safety education pack

The Consular Communications team run the Know Before You Go campaign, which aims to reduce consular cases through messaging on travel safety. We are looking for a company to update and enhance our current educational pack on travel safety, to be used in schools for PSHE lessons at Key Stage 5.

Additional information: UPDATE: In answer to a question about what can be hosted on gov.uk. We can directly host documents in PDF and Powerpoint format, but cannot add HTML directly to gov.uk pages,this was why the interactive globe element of the original pack has now gone. HTML or similar formats would need to be hosted off gov.uk and any ideas suggested along these lines would need to include the cost of hosting within the project budget. Please bear in mind that schools will need easy access.

UPDATE: there are some additional pages that relate to the current school pack that had come adrift from the main pack. Please see links above to these pages. These can be refreshed and updated or completely reimagined. The INTERACTIVE GLOBE mentioned in the pack was not transferrable from our original website to gov.uk.

Some additional information based on a question, about the videos on youtube. Do these also need to be updated as well as the pack?

The youtube films are an integral part of the pack’s materials at the moment. I have checked them, and they don’t have to be updated, the content is still relevant. I am aware that the budget we have for this may not stretch to new videos! We are happy to consider bids with the pack still integrating the current videos as they are, but updated videos would be fine if it can be done within the budget. We don’t even necessarily have to use the videos at all. I am open to all creative suggestions.
