description
WM Housing Group is committed to measuring engagement of our employees, by completing a bi annual employee engagement survey and measuring key drivers of engagement within the organisation. In addition to giving employees a confidential voice to give open feedback on a variety of factors including but not limited to line management, reward and recognition. We also engage staff later on in the action planning stages. We work on an organisational plan which is then divided into the various different business areas. In 2016 our Group engagement response rate was 82% and our engagement overall score was 75% The Service Provider will be required to provide an online survey that is user friendly and compatible with various types of mobile technology.
The Service Provider will be required to offer a full employee engagement survey bi-annually in autumn 2018 and then autumn 2020, and to complete smaller interim surveys each year with flexibility to do this as and when the needs arise.
The service provision will be for an initial contract duration of 3 years with a provision to extend this up to one additional year depending on satisfactory performance.
The Service Provider will be expected to offer some consultancy around question selection in order to add value on and improve efficiency on this area. We have worked on a core of 32 questions but are open to reducing the questions to make it quicker and easier for staff to complete but keeping it valuable and will therefore require guidance on the question types and value.
The Service Provider will provide us with reports for each business area and the overall organisation results. These would be in an easy to read and understand format for all staff (for example the use of charts and info graphics). The Service Provider will also provide shorter highlight reports alongside the more detailed reports. The reports will be required to:
- oHighlight positive areas achieved
- oProvide guidance on areas that require improvement
- oProvide equality analysis based on the overall results.
The Service Provider will be able to provide benchmarking analysis across other similar sized organisations in both public and private sectors.
The Service Provider will provide consultancy report on the overall results, and provide recommendations for managers and how to action plan for their own teams.
The Service Provider will be required to provide training on how to utilise the online reporting portal so that managers across the business can see their own results.
The Service Provider will provide a one price for all services including relevant training on online reporting tool without any hidden extras.
The service required will also include support in the following areas:
- oSending reminders to staff periodically
- oProviding reassurance on confidentiality of the data
- oProviding IT support (helpline) for staff having any difficulties completing the survey.
