description

Dudley MBC, Place Directorate are seeking tender submissions from registered Insurance Brokers who have the ability to demonstrate expertise in handling large public sector portfolios.

It is a requirement of this contract that Brokers should have a minimum of three years experience in managing similar public sector contracts. Tenderers failing to demonstrate at least three years public sector insurance experience will not be considered. In addition, tenderers must demonstrate their ability to manage contracts of a similar size.

The contract will be for the provision of tenants contents insurance and leaseholder contents insurance; Brokers should submit rates accordingly. Dudley MBC would expect rates for leaseholders and tenants to be the same. However, there is provision on the pricing schedule for different rates, should this be necessary.

Submissions must be competitive, affordable to tenants, and at least be comparable to the existing scheme in terms of the weekly cost to tenants and cover provided, and to current products available from high street providers.
