Additional information: This PIN is for a procurement opportunity for two main tasks that will be tendered either by an open procedure or using an existing Sellafield procurement solution (still open to new suppliers) The two main tasks may be jointly awarded or awarded separately; Task One - Wet Method for Deployment and Displacement Requirement for identification and demonstration of a submersible ROV and hose system capable of deploying within the Floc Storage Tanks and displacing all of the Residuals therein. Wet Method - A submersible ROV deployed from the operations floor down into the tank equipped with a nozzle to enable displacement of the FST residuals. The tank will be partially refilled with water to enable the submersible ROV to operate. There are three equally spaced circular openings into top of the tank with a diameter of 1.4m. Required Deliverables Summary Identification of a Wet Method System Demonstration of a Wet Method System in displacement and deployment Demonstration of optional capabilities where elected by the vendor Access with the system originators during demonstration Access to spare or alternative parts during demonstration Task Two - Dry Method for Deployment and Displacement Requirement for identification and demonstration of an ROV and hose system capable of deploying within the Floc Storage Tanks and displacing all of the Residuals therein. Dry Method - An ROV deployed from the operations floor down into the tank equipped with a nozzle to enable displacement of the FST residuals. There are three equally spaced circular openings into top of the tank with a diameter of 1.4m. Required Deliverables Summary Identification of a Dry Method System Demonstration of a Dry Method System in displacement and deployment Demonstration of optional capabilities where elected by the vendor Access with the system originators during demonstration Access to spare or alternative parts during demonstration
