description
Newquay Business Improvement District (BID) works to promote Newquay and to bring footfall and growth to all businesses within its boundary. Newquay BID is now in its second term, voted for by its members. An annual levy is paid by members, as part of a government legislative scheme to improve town centres.
At present Love Newquay is only present on social media, and this project will help bring the next phase of marketing and growth to the town. The Love Newquay Project will focus on offering digital platforms to all BID member businesses across a website and app. It will enable businesses to communicate with customers, as well as providing key demographics and analytics. Therefore, Newquay BID wants to launch a fully integrated online system to help residents, visitors and businesses get the most from their Newquay experience as a key step towards a ground-breaking digital high street experience.
The purchase of this system is part of a grant funded application process and therefore procurement will be subject to grant approval of the project as a whole. We will compare tenders received on a compliance basis only.
