description

The Cornwall Council is seeking to establish a multi-supplier minor works construction framework. This Framework relates to the delivery of Works to a value of up to £2m, where the Council is seeking to appoint up to 6 principal contractors able to undertake all work packages that make up construction contracts across all our property types (schools, offices etc.), this will include undertaking and managing all specialist subcontractors as required.

Therefore, anyone applying for the framework must be able to demonstrate they are able to provide the entire range of works and services and the Council would not be able to appoint contractors able to only undertake a proportion of the works.

The Cornwall Council is conducting this procurement via its E Tendering system which contains all the procurement documentation. ACCESS TO WHICH CAN BE FOUND AT WWW.SUPPLYINGTHESOUTHWEST.ORG.UK. ref: DN327415 All expressions of interest will be automatically accepted by the portal.

The term of the Framework Agreement is intended to be for four years, commencing in April 2018 and will comprise one multi-supplier Lot . This Lot will primarily handle Capital Construction Contracts Minor Works - with discrete Contractor design portions within the county of Cornwall and Plymouth;

The works will consist of building and construction works including new build, extensions and refurbishments or other works of a similar nature.

Call offs under the framework will be on the basis of a mini competition between the contractors, or direct award on a basis as set out in the procurement documentation.
