Leicester City Council expects to deliver a significant portfolio in excess of £100 million of major capital and development projects to support the City Mayor?s and the Council?s vision to improve the economic, social and environmental wellbeing of the City.
The Authority is looking to appoint a multi-disciplinary construction consultancy provider, led by an experienced Programme Director, with a proven track record in multiple sectors, i.e. Education, Housing, Highways, Transport, Public Realm and Economic Development.
They will be responsible for providing Programme Managers for various projects, and the range of disciplines required to deliver them.
Funding for the delivery of the project may to be provided by several sources, including potentially Leicester City Council, the UK Government and/or the European Regional Development Fund, and the team will be expected to comply with the rules and regulations associated with this funding.
