AQP Self Directed Support (Window 3) - NHS Nene & Corby CCGs

NHS Arden & GEMCSU on behalf of NHS Nene and NHS Corby Clinical Commissioning Groups is undertaking an Any Qualified Provider (AQP) process for the provision of a Self-Directed Support Service in Northamptonshire. The contracting CCGs are seeking to encourage the provision of flexible and responsive Self Directed Support services as alternatives to clinical services. The aims of the Service is to deliver:

• Person centred and tailor-made support to individuals with mental health difficulties
• High quality, efficient delivery of the service in line with National Standards and specific commissioner requirements.
• Quality which covers three specific domains:

a)Safety - do no harm to the service user and the environment is safe and clean

• b)Effectiveness – measurably improved outcomes for individuals
• c)Service User experience - quality of care and the delivery of personalised care that has been led by the user
• Equality of access
• Value for money
• Efficient Information flows between providers facilitating continuity of care
• Timely, accurate and comprehensive regular performance reporting in line with commissioner requirements
• User led choice and control
• Positive health and wellbeing, including emotional resilience
• Access to and a connection with ordinary community opportunities, including
• employment and leisure opportunities
• A sense of personal worth
• Recovery and self-management
