Speed Limit Buoys

Requirement

Maldon District Council (MDC) is seeking a Contractor to deliver, collect, store and maintain their speed limit buoys.

The proposed Contract will run from 21st March 2016 for a period of FIVE years and will be let on the basis of a fixed price for labour and the submitted method statement. During the term of the Contract, buildings may be added or removed from the Contract, three months notice will be given for any alterations.

Maldon District Council (MDC) and Colchester Borough Council (CBC) have a requirement for 23 (twenty three), eight knot speed limit buoys, identical in shape and colour to be delivered to various locations throughout the River Blackwater, Mersea Island and River Colne within the first 2 weeks of April and gathered up in the first 2 weeks of October each year. The contract will include the storage, cleaning and maintenance of the buoys and associated equipment.
