Supported Lodgings For Young People At Risk

This is a Contract Award Notice. This Supported Lodgings service will be for young people at risk, providing accommodation for young people within a stable home setting along with support from a Host (the Host is the person providing lodgings within their home for a young person and support) and a visiting support service from the Provider.

This service will specifically target those young people who would be considered too vulnerable to thrive in a supported accommodation project and will require a high level of support.

These units will provide accommodation with support for vulnerable young people aged 16 - 21 who are at risk, homeless, or threatened with homelessness, including mother and baby service users.

The Service Provider will provide:

• 12 units of Supported Lodgings
• 1 unit of emergency respite, accessible for immediate use up to a period of 3 months (which may be extended depending on need).
• 24 hour support, 7 days per week, 52 weeks per year - for service users and hosts.
