The Authority is looking for suppliers for the provision of Net Annual Income Assessments. Defra has lead responsibility in Government for policy and legislation relating to Agricultural Tenancy including succession rights on tenant farms. Schedule 6 of the Agricultural Holdings Act 1986 places an obligation on the Secretary of State to provide Net Annual Income Assessments (“NAIAs”) to inform the First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber), Agricultural Land & Drainage (“First-tier Tribunal”) in cases relating to farm tenancy succession rights.
