Requirement

Rochford District Council is seeking a flexible Contractor who will work with them to provide a clean environment for staff and visitors.

The proposed Contract will run from 15th June 2015 for a period of FOUR years and will be let on the basis of a fixed price for labour and materials. During the term of the Contract, buildings may be added or removed from the Contract, three months notice will be given for any alterations.

The Contract is to provide cleaning services to offices and windows at the buildings operated by RDC in and around Rochford and Rayleigh. The buildings have different requirements with regard to access times for cleaning and frequency of cleaning operations. As part of the Contract Information, enclosed is a summary of each site, detailing the site addresses, description of the buildings, access times, and floor plans. On occasions the cleaner may be a key holder.

Additional information: It has been bought to my attention that the specification is slightly wrong in the frequencies that we are asking you to clean, such as the office hovering being carried out daily, when it should read fortnightly.

Due to this we will need to make an amendment to the specification, we will be extending the deadline by 2 weeks to accommodate this. The new closing deadline will be 4pm Monday 11th May 2015.

We will be working on the revised specification and this will be available Thursday this week latest. Appendix D Cleaning Requirements (amended) is now available (22/4/15)
