Bariatric Equipment Rental

Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is testing the market for a Bariatric Equipment rental agreement. DCHFT require a single daily price to cover the unlimited hire of:

-bariatric bed frames

-air mattresses

-chairs (static, rise & recline & high dependency)

-commodes

-stand aids

-dynamic cushions.

This daily price will include the delivery & collection costs, training and 24hour support. The single daily price is the only price payable if there are multiple pieces of equipment on site or no equipment on site.

It is expected that all equipment must be deliverable to DCHFT within 4 hours of the rental request being made and collected within 12 hours of the specific equipment rental being terminated.

It is expected that a 24 hour /365 day help line & rental line will be provided.

Multiple CPD accredited training sessions for staff must be provided on the bariatric equipment per annum.

The purpose of this PIN is to establish interest and to engage with the market pre-procurement.
