description
WMCA are pleased to confirm the publication of this consultancy opportunity. Connecting Communities is a 3 year pilot programme which commenced in June 2018 aimed at tackling unemployment and low pay within local communities. The intention is to support individuals to engage with targeted employability support, to raise aspirations within the community, and support individuals to transition into sustainable employment. We are now seeking to commission suitably qualified and experienced organisations/consultant to deliver the following requirements:
Lot 1 - Process Evaluation
The Process Evaluation aims to provide a detailed understanding to inform delivery of the programme and future policy and practice.
Lot 2 - Impact Evaluation
The Impact Evaluation aims to provide a detailed understanding to inform not only delivery and sustainability of the programme during its lifetime, but in particular current and future policy and practice at a national, regional and local level
Please Note:
- The intention is for the WMCA to commission both an Impact and a Process Evaluation for the Connecting Communities programme. The Process Evaluation (Lot 1) will be carried out alongside the Impact Evaluation (Lot 2), in order to understand how the intervention will work in practice. Responses to the two lots will be evaluated separately but may be appointed to a single supplier, or two separate suppliers.
- The estimated combined value for this opportunity is £175,000. This is the anticipated total cost to deliver both lots.
