The proposed contract period is for single service provider for an initial 3-year period with an option of two one-year extensions, for auction services including
| • | collecting property such as, electrical items. bicycles, cameras, toys, leather goods, coins / currency, jewelry, memorabilia, etc. from Merseyside Police Premises or 3rd party site; |
| • | advertising / promoting of auctions it and then the management of the auctions directly or via specialist auctioneers to achieve the best financial return possible from the sale of the property; |
| • | maximizing the transparency and management information (MI) available to show a live and complete audit trail of the items, including concise MI reports, audit trails that clearly evidences removal of property from Police Premises, provision when requested of a realistic reserve price before auction, date and time of sale and actual price realised; |
| • | work with Merseyside Police staff to ensure the integrity of the Force is upheld. |
