Consultant appointed to test the deliverability of the Worcester City Masterplan, in relation to the flood risk and drainage management constraints to housing and employment development in the City. The project involves development of an integrated drainage strategy taking into account fluvial, surface, sewer, groundwater sources alongside high level options testing to identify whether viable mitigation measures can be put in place to unlock planned growth. The robust and up-to-date catchment based evidence will be used to identify a package of management projects across the city linked to enabling delivery of Worcester City's Masterplan which in turn will aim to provide betterment to existing residents and businesses at flood risk.
