NOTE: This notice was updated on 05 April 2023 for the following reason: Description update(This is ITT 'Invitation to Tender' that provides information for consideration with respect to the provision of Brand Concept Consultancy for Bath Spa University.
This is an ITT Invitation to Tender that provides information for consideration with respect to the provision of Brand Concept Consultancy for Bath Spa University. 31.3 CONTEXT: a)Receiving University status in 2005, with its DNA in an Art School and a School of Education, Bath Spa is a relatively young creative practice-based University. Recent years have seen rapid growth in student numbers via partnerships, the opening of a new Arts Campus in an iconic 1970s ex-Herman Miller furniture factory, and a steady rise up the league tables, including a top-20 business school and a ranking of 18 in the national University Green Planet sustainability table. b)Channeling its creative and professional origins, the University is developing an identity as a nationally leading University for innovation in teaching and learning, research and near-business activity. If the driving purpose is to apply creative solution finding to all aspects of its work, in short, applied creativity everywhere, including the least expected places. 31.4 TASK: a) This very original University requires an equally imaginative brand, created by its community rather than airlifted in and experienced by interaction rather than delivered by statement. Just as the University is establishing new shapes in its demand driven approach to teaching, learning and research application, it is seeking an agency that matches its approach, working with staff, students and external collaborators to create an experiential encapsulation of what it means to be a Bath Spa Creative Professional. b)Expect work with a cross section of staff across the entire BSU and partners, a range of external collaborators from public and private sectors, key representatives of the student union and the marketing and recruitment staff of the University in a staged process between April and July 2023)
