Derbyshire County Council is inviting tenders to provide a Recovery and Peer Support Service for Derbyshire (excluding Derby City).

The Council are seeking a provider with a proven track record of managing and delivering high quality mental health services.

The Council is offering a single contract. The successful provider might sub-contract some or all of the service, or be the lead provider for a Consortium, or deliver the service in its entirety.

Providers will provide targeted community based to help people to improve and maintain their mental health with an emphasis on recovery, self-management, independence and overall wellbeing. They will also develop peer support and self-help opportunities to ensure equitable access to local support and to empower people with mental ill health to support each other in their recovery journey.

The successful provider will be required to evidence outcomes that result in changes for individuals receiving the service, and outcomes that contribute to collective advocacy change.
