Software and Hardware Value Added Reseller 

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) is seeking a sole supplier for the services of a Value-Added Reseller (VAR) to satisfy both software and hardware requirements with vendors. Supplier will be required to manage the purchasing of both current and forthcoming requirements for the Authority, whilst also providing further value through ensuring efficiencies within the licensing estate, negotiating best price, offering solutions, advice, and alternatives to current products. We will be working with the supplier as a partnership, whilst seeking continuous improvement throughout the duration of the contract.

The aim of seeking a partnership with a Value Added Reseller is to provide cashable savings for the organisation.

The approach detailed above is an approach the Contracting Authority is considering, therefore:

• This project may not be taken forward.
• The Contracting Authority may make amendments to the approach outlined in this notice.
• Any future procurement is subject to internal approval and approvals across Government.
• The contract start date has been entered as 1st April 2024, however this date is subject to change.
• This will be a no commitment call-off contract therefore the estimated value is subject to change as well.
