NHS England South (South East) Kent and Sussex Prisons Primary Care

This notice is placed as a Prior Information Notice and relates only to a pre-procurement market engagement event.

NHS England South (South East) (the commissioners) invites expressions of interest (EOI) from suitably qualified and experienced providers, including third sector and social enterprise organisations, private and NHS organisations, to provide Primary Health services to the prison population across Kent and Sussex and to attend a Market Engagement Event. The aim of the event is to work with potential bidders and stakeholders to understand opportunities and barriers to providing these services across a minimum of 5 establishments and to assist commissioners with shaping their procurement strategy. This is not a call for competition.

The Market Engagement Event will be held on Thursday 15th June 2017 between 14.00 to 17.00 pm at the below venue;

The Services are healthcare services within the meaning and scope of Annex XIV of Directive 2014/24/EU ("the Directive") and Schedule 3 to the Public Contract Regulations 2015 ("the Regulations"), which are not subject to the full regime of the Regulations, but is instead governed by the "Light Touch Regime", (Articles 74 to 76 of the Directive, and Regulations 74 to 76 of the Regulations). For the avoidance of doubt, the Authority will not be bound by the Regulations or the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union or any other regulations or legislation except for the specific parts or circumstances that apply to the procurement of these Services.
