description

The subject matter of this process relates to the delivery of services which are listed in Schedule 3 of the Public Contract Regulations.

The contract provides a high quality, evidenced based service that focuses on improving community safety by

  1. Supporting those adults attending ED for complex health and social problems that are a result of alcohol and illicit drug use,
  2. Sharing relevant information (Information Sharing to Tackle Violence) in a timely way with key partners to enable those partners to use that information to prevent violence in the community related to alcohol and illegal drugs,
  3. Using surveillance and auditing of the Electronic Patient Records for ED attendance to spot trends and issues in alcohol and illicit drug attendances which could be relevant to ED staff,
  4. Attending key partnership meetings.

The contract period is two years, with no option to extend, beginning on 1 April 2023.
