Terrace Car Park - Electrical Refurbishment Works

Torbay Council is looking for a suitably qualified electrical contractor for the following works. The Contract will be managed by TDA.

Terrace Car Park, Montpellier Rd, Torquay TQ1 1DD

The works comprise of -

Remove existing electrical switch gear, install new distribution boards, sub maim cabling.

Part A - Install power supplies for new lift, pay & display machines, barriers, EV charger.

Part B - Remove all light fittings and old failed aluminium MI cabling.

Rewire lighting circuits and Install new LED luminaires with smart controls to lower ground deck, middle deck and re supply existing upper deck lampposts.

Part C - Replace existing lamppost lanterns with new LED lanterns.

This procurement was undertaken following a Further Competition process in accordance with the Directive (2014/24/EU) and implemented in the United Kingdom by the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (SI 2015/102).

Devon County Council awarded a Standing List of Approved Contractors called (SLoAC) in accordance with their internal Contract Standing Orders on 1 April 2016. On Contracts Finder the SLoAC can be found by searching CP1173-15. Torbay Council has access to this Standing List to undertake Further Competitions.
