Countywide Phase Out of R22 Refrigerant Gas in Air Conditioning Systems

Kent Police are looking for a Contractor who shall be responsible for removing/replacing all R22 refrigerated air conditioning units throughout all Kent Police owned premises and for installing all electrical/mechanical services necessary for the installation of selected replacement units associated with this contract. The contractor shall also be responsible for supervising and organising all other associated trades involved throughout the duration of the contract.

The works shall comprise of the de-commissioning and safe removal of approximately 140 R22 based air conditioning systems in non-critical areas and the design, installation, commissioning, training and maintenance of selected (approximately 40) new A/C systems in critical areas.

Works are expected to start in early May 2016, for approximately 25 weeks.

Contractors interested in this work should log onto www.kentpolice.bravosolution.co.uk and download the Suitability Assessment. This should be completed by 26th February 2016. The top 5 scoring Contractors will then be invited to tender for the works.
