description

Moneywise Plus, helps to boost the work and life opportunities of unemployed and disadvantaged people across Leicester and Leicestershire. Led by Reaching People, funded by the European Social Fund and The National Lottery Community Fund, the project is delivered through partner organisations, providing 1-2-1 adviser support to help people to overcome barriers to employment; build key financial and digital life skills and move people closer to their goals. We are looking for a delivery organisation to join the partnership.

The maximum contract value is £70,000. The budget is based on 2 FTE staff (24 months of adviser delivery) and includes 15% for management and office costs, as per the funder's restrictions.

The required outputs are to contribute to overall project targets and, as a minimum, as follows:

60 new participants signed up to the project by Dec 2022.
12 participants exited into education/training and 12 participants into job search on completion of the support.
3 'soft outcomes' achieved by 60 clients showing improved financial, digital and social confidence.

Applications will be shortlisted against the following selection criteria. Organisations must:

Have experience and expertise in providing effective, holistic, client focussed, 1-2-1 support and advice a) on a range of issues such as benefits, housing, money matters etc. b) to build financial, digital and employability skills and confidence.
Have a track record of delivering successfully against targets, in target driven projects and ideally, ESF funded.
Be well established and effectively networked within Leicester and/or Leicestershire to reach the project client group and referral organisations.
Be able to meet the robust financial and administrative, quality and audit requirements of the project at both organisation and adviser level.
Bring added value to the Moneywise Plus project and partnership.
Have the necessary organisational capacity, viability and financial standing to deliver.

Applications must include:

a)A summary (no more than 1500 words), of how you meet the above criteria.
b)A completed 'organisation information and compliance form'. The information will form part of our shortlisting process.

Applications should be sent to Sangeeta Patel, Project Manager, by email to sangeeta@reachingpeople.co.uk or by post to 15 Wellington Street, Leicester, LE1 6HH by 14 March 2022 at 5.00pm. Shortlisted organisations will be invited to present their application.

Deadline for clarifications is 7 March 2022 at 5.00pm and will be posted on the Reaching People website.
