Enhanced Inspection & Surveillance (Plant Health) Evaluation Design & Evaluation

The Authority is looking for suppliers to design an evaluation framework and to then carry out a multi-method, inter-disciplinary evaluation of Plant Health Enhanced Inspection and Surveillance. The evaluation should as far as possible determine the effectiveness of the Programme as a whole and should also inform ongoing policy and operational design and decision-making to safeguard the health of plants in Great Britain.

It is considered that this project should be led by an organisation with experience in evaluation of complex policy areas.

There is no requirement for specialist knowledge relating to plant health policy, or inspection and surveillance, as this input can be provided by the evaluation working group.

This the second of two Evaluation Design and Evalution projects which the Authority have let in March.
