Sandwell MBC has a long history of industrial development and agricultural activities are not a major feature of the area. However, there are a number of premises operating within Sandwell that are regulated under Animal Health, Welfare & Disease Control and Animal Feed legislation.

Sandwell Council are seeking to work with a partner organization that has considerable experience in the inspection and enforcement of premises subject to animal health, welfare & disease control and animal feed legislation. The supplier will be required to provide management, inspection and investigation services along with contingency planning relevant to each subject area.
