The project is required to allow the UK to fulfil international obligations under the Stockholm Convention. Drawing up and maintaining release inventories for dioxins, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), hexachlorobenzene (HCB) and currently twenty-two other pesticides and industrial chemical substances.
