description

The University is planning further construction work on the Manor Park Campus. This notice seeks expressions of interest from design and construct contractors for one accommodation building, Block H (about 5,500m2 for 200 students), comprising four storey detached student residences, together with onsite infrastructure works, sewers, external works and minor buildings.

The majority of bedroom room types will be standard single occupancy ensuite bedrooms grouped in clusters of 5, 6, 7 and 8 bedroom flats with communal kitchen and seating area. There is also the possibility that some accommodation will be either special needs or enhanced rooms.

The procurement route will be single stage design and construct. The design and construction cost is about £9 million. The University has completed Blocks A to G inclusive and the Campus Reception Building (typical photographs enclosed within the PQQ documentation.).

Please note: subject to funding and demand criteria the University reserves the right not to award a contract for the project
